Since my question on my USB turntable, as now gone off the page, I have need of your assistance again please.

Thanks for your answers, I have gone into control panel under Sounds and Audio Devices, but it gives me no alternative to Sigma Tel Audio.

In Edit / Preferences in Audacity the other option it gives is Playback/ Microsoft Sound Mapper (output) and Recording Microsoft Sound Mapper (input).

But the instructions says on Windows machines do not select "Micro Soft Sound Mapper" for some reason.

Sorry to be a bother, but can you help me further please?

I've cracked it, thanks all the same.

One needs to open Audacity first before connecting the USG plug to computer, and the sound only comes on when one presses record.
