Epson SX205
1 Answers
Hi. I use an HP B&W Laser Jet 1018 mostly and the ink will last well over a year.
However, I have an Epson SX205 for occasional colour printing and the cartridge
status continually pops up reminding me how I should use ONLY Epson inks!
Having had many printers over the years, I never ever buy the printers' own inks
and I have even been down the "refill it yourself'' route, sometimes successfully
often unsuccessfully depending on the printer involved!
This Epson SX205 really gets my goat. The ink status pops up nearly every time
I print and if only one colour is getting low (although there may still be ink in it)
it will remind me how to buy Epson inks and the 'stop light' shows up on the printer
and refuses to print. Although Epson RECOMMENDS that one uses only Epson
inks, it does not advise how to over-ride this problem.
I usually manage to fool the printer some how but this morning I'm having no success.
Does any Aber know the secret? Any help gratefully received. Thanks.
