This question by Smudge is totally improper, therefore, and no answer should be given.
Fraid I've never heard of Cybercom so I can't comment on that system. I have however, experienced PC World & Staples. Now, of course, it would be against AB rules to actually advise against shopping at certain out-of-town-pc-retailers, so I won't...
What I can say is that I have also had lots of experience of Dell, who I cannot speak highly enough of. I would strongly recommend having a look round here first:

Hope that helps rather than hinders.
Dell are great - I've used them for years. But the downside of Dell is you can't go to a shop and take it away with you. You have to wait for them to build the PC to your chosen spec and then deliver it. People who don't want to wait go and buy at the superstore.
I bought my latest PC a month or so ago at one of the BCS Computer Fairs in London. Excellent prices, and you can take it away in the boot of the car there and then. But I suspect the support options are not as user friendly as those at Dell or PC World.
I don't think these days there are any truly bad PCs, its a matter of choosing the right PC for the job. At the end of the day you pay your money and take your choice.
Thank you all for your support.
I see the confrontational post from Sludge remains, when other AB User's valid posts are banned on a whim.
It's nice to know that Sludge admires my name so much, she goes out of her way to try to copy it - well mimicry is the best form of flattery.
P.S. I expect this will be banned though!
Sludge as you have opened this up for discussion I cannot see that Smudge is trying to market, sell or promote any product.
Asking for advice on a particular product is not, as far as I am aware against Answerbank Message Board Rules (by which we are all bound and to which we all agree), otherwise why have AnswerBank created a Shopping category?
Maybe this query should have been in the Shopping category, but as AnswerBank hasn't moved it i would suggest that it is relevant in either category.
Thank you for all the helpful & positive replies. Our daughter bought the Cybercom PC package today, which included a 17" TFT monitor. I've just set it all up & our Granddaughter is now back on MSN chatting to her friends.
Staples were very helpful & accomodating & said that if she wasn't happy with it, she could return it within 14 days, for either a refund or the same make as ours, an HP.
