can anyone tell me if there are any internet sites from which you can view the night sky though a telescope, as i think it would be cool if you could look into space say from the hubble telescope or any others.

You can sign up (it's free) and use it!

you put in the corordinates, exposure time etc. and your job gets queued

Another great site for those interested in astronomy.

It has a million images of galaxies taken from the Apache Point Observatory in New Mexico. Site users can contribute to the classification of the images as part of the research project.

So far 150,000 people have contributed to the work. Sometimes the site can be a bit slow but it is worth it. The forum has an awesome collection of the best images which are stunningly beautiful.
