Peugeot 406 Sri Turbo Question

I have just purchased one of these on a "P" plate with 100k miles and wanted to find out what major probs to look for so that I may prevent future major probs setting in! I am arranging for a new cam belt this week, it seems to have a new exhaust from the front as it is shiny and new when looking at all other bits underneath. The body work is fantastic for the age, and it pulls like a train above 3000rpm, must be the turbo bit...

(Q1)The idle revs dip up and down between 900 and 1k when it is warm or cold. Is that the timing sensor? I assume this engine must have electronic ignition, what should I ask the garage geezer to do to sort this glitch?

(Q2)As I did not get a manual with this car can anyone confirm what the left hand side meter is telling me on the drivers consol, for about 10 seconds after decoding the immobiliser it pops over to Max and then switches off, is it an oil level indicator?

(Q3)I have no key for the lock inside the boot of the car, what is this key needed for? Is it something to do with the alarm and immobiliser bit?

Apart from my questions, I love this motor, it is really quick on the motorways and great when I had to go from London to Middlesbrough and back on business, does anyone have any other things to look out for on this model?

(Q4)I have looked for other models like mine on the road but they all seem to be LX or HDI models, is my SRi Turbo as rare as it seems to be? It does not shout it from the outside as there is only an SR badge on the front side wings.

I thank everyone of you for responding in advance and will rate your answers appropriately. :-)

I had exactly the same motor, P reg SRi Turbo in dark Red. Loved it. Probably the most reliable car I have ever had. Bought it at 48,000, sold it at 98,000 nearly three years ago. Not sure of the answers to Q1 and Q3, but the meter on the left is indeed an Oil Level check meter. Also, the car is quite rare and in the time of owning it I only saw about another three. In the time I had it, nothing went wrong with it, so I can't really tell you what to watch out for!
