Quick question about trolls
29 Answers
before I go out again, AB has always had some sort of troll activity but for the long term users (2004- onwards) when did the first type of agressive abusive trolling start? I joined in 2006 and there was only arguments between known users and not trolls hiding behind alias', yes there were vile arguments but no klown style trolling.
when did this start? or has it always been there..?

However, it seemed that there was one user, who felt aggreived at being banned, and then became 'troll 1' if you like. He/she boasted openly about his acheivement in being able to create multiple user-names and this seemed to then catch-on with those of a similar mind-set.
I still think that there is a very small number of trolls; they are just prolific in 'profiles' and postings.
There is also a similar number of regular posters who delight in creating disposable names to *ahem* entertain and cause confusion. No doubt this has them chortling to themselves, but it is a joke with very limited appeal.........
