laptops on holiday

I'm thinking of taking a laptop of some description on holiday to keep in touch with my family etc.. i'd like one that i could use my skype phone with.. and also send e mails with.. it needs to be able to work from mexico and the usa.. can anyone recommend a good one for around the £300 mark

your only issue would be the plug, so you'll need an adapter. you'll have to download Skype (although it may already be on the lappy) and the rest you can do on any laptop.

I'm sure some nice person will recommend a laptop to you :o)

If you don't mind a smallish screen and a slightly small keyboard I'd get a netbook to take away with you.
