Does anyone out there know if it is possible to record freeview to a TV with inbuilt VCR? I can find loads of instructions on how to record through a separate recorder but it doesn't seem to work when its built in. Any answers greatly appreciated as it's driving me nuts!

Have you got a Manual for reference or if not have a look in TV Menu as there should be guidance there.

Thanks for the idea but the TV is about 8 years old, don't think they were thinking about freeview then....
It's probably not possible if the freeview box is connected via a scart lead.

If it's connected using a aerial lead you would record the same way as any other programme (but most freeview boxes don't allow you to connect to a TV using the RF lead)
