is there a way of seeing how many words you did in a whole publisher document?

if you have word installed you can use that to count the words, click in the text box in publisher with the text in it you want to count then select edit in word from the file menu, when word loads use the word count feature on the edit menu in word, once you have the number of words select close and return to publisher from the file menu.
Another method (but somewhat slower):
Place the mouse pointer on first word and shout "one!"
Move to next word: shout "Two!"
Repeat (incrementing the number you shout) for each word until you get to the end of the document. Make a note of the last number you shouted.

copy all to Word. Hi-lite the script & go to Tools/word count....voila
