Tissot watch bizarre behaviour
4 Answers
I have a tissot watch -battery operated only. I have had it for about 10 years or so and it has needed few new batteries. When it does need new batteries it stops dead -no running slowly or erratically. I am having chemotherapy these past few months and it has puzzled me that when I take the watch off to have the treatment the watch goes very slowly. As the treatment can take 5 hours to administer ,the watch can be as much as 1 hour slow. This is a variable amount though and it may only be 30 mins or so out. The treatment is 3 weekly and the watch runs perfectly during the rest of the time .It is of course always on my wrist too.Any ideas as to why it does this?

I put it down to the fact that it was probably wearing out & would only work when warm - a bit like me!! Could you get somene else to wear it for you while you have chemo & see what happens? Good luck with the treatment - hope it's not too tough for you (been there myself).
