Ebay not recieved goods?
5 Answers
Hi i ordered a pack of batteries from an ebay seller last 9 days ago and then 2 days later i bought some
smaller sized batteries from the same seller for a few quid less, the smaller Batteries arrived 2 days later
but the larger pencil Batteries have still yet to arrive! just wondering if i should wait a bit longer before
contacting him and if i do contact him then what do i say? im presuming that they have been lost in the
post as he has 100% feedback and i did recieve the smaller Batteries from him afterall. He posted
them via Royal mail standard mail which i understand is not signed for so unsure where i stand as i
got a message saying that he did send them, so i presume he is just gonna tell me that he sent them?
any idea's on the best way to approach this situation would be well appreciated cheers. Kev

The seller will hopefully have retained a proof of postage when he mailed the batteries. You need first to email him as Eddie suggests, as if the package doesn't arrive (and one of my eBay sales took over 10 days to arrive recently) then the onus is on him to put a claim in to the Royal Mail for non-delivery. Any reputable seller will do that and then refund the money to you. The other thing is that if it's not resolved in the next few days, you need to report it to eBay. If you paid by PayPal you can get redress through them too - they will investigate and may refund your money then reclaim it from the seller. When you contact the seller at first, just say that the batteries haven't arrived, when did he post them, and then when he replies if it's been more than a couple of weeks he can go to the PO and get a form and start the claim process off. Any difficulties, keep eBay informed, they have an interest in protecting buyer and seller so they will certainly try to help.
As others have said..contact the seller explaining the situation...if they are genuine, which I expect they are, with having 100% feedback.
You should'nt have a problem .... because you hold the power to them retaining their 100% feedback...( dont leave any feedback whatsoever until it is resolved ).
... and as boxtops has already stated, eBay and PayPal will come to the rescue if needed...but I should doubt if it will ever come to that.
