My wife has a Pay as You Go contract with Orange. She wants to change to Vodafone but keep her phone number as it is easy to remember.

Can she do this? I think so- she has to ask Orange for the PAC number or something I think?

She will need to ring up Orange Customer Services for a Porting Authorisation Code, which she will be able to give to Vodaphone to transfer her number across to the new sim card. You will probably lose any credit on the Pay & Go sim card.
