remove partition
9 Answers
Hi
My netbook has the HD (160Gb) divided into C and D drives, 80Gb per partition. I don't really need the partition, is it easy to go back to just the C drive, and if so, how do I do it ? Many thanks

In Windows XP, rightclick MyComputer and select 'Manage'. Select 'Disk Management' and make sure the view/bottom/graphical view is ticked Then right click the D drive or whichever you want to delete. You should then get a menu with an 'delete partition' option.
I have used this before and it works but, as Chuck said, always back up first just in case.

All that will do is leave the OP with one 80GB partition - it won't create one single 160GB partition which I believe (reading between the lines) is what the OP wants...
