How do I make a video using bits from holiday video's,moments captured with friends , etc and put it all together and onto a DVD disc that will play automatically on any bog standard dvd player?
Help.

there are numerous programs available and one I came across recently is DVDStyler http://www.dvdstyler.org/ which is freeware

A good FREE program for editing and joining videos is AviDemux.. Google for it

A great one already on your PC is movie maker, thou you need a burning prog like Nero to convert your finished work to a DVD

I recommend this mainly because it's very easy to use. Easy to add effects and edit video.
