I bought a HP(hewlett packard) laserjet p1005 printer recently.. for my eMac..

but i cant get it to print anything. there is paper in the printer, theres a cable attached, its plugged in, there ´s a green light, to say its on, but nothing is happening!!

Have you installed the software that came with it?

And if it is a USB printer did you plug it in before the software told you to? if so remove all the software from add remove programs disconnect the printer and reinstall the software and don't plug the printer in until told to do so..

hi cf, dont remember getting any software with the printer, will need to check the box again when i´m back in my g´friends flat in 3 weeks. all i remember getting was the printer and the mains cable
