How do I get the best out of my iPhone?

I've just got my free phone upgrade and got myself an iPhone 3g and am a very happy me.

I know there are tonnes of apps and such about so, while I'm waiting for it to activate (I just want to play!) I thought I'd come on and ask about the best free apps there are about and all that kind of thing.

Any suggestions welcome :)

omg jenna, prepare to be addicted, I know a few people who have iphones and the damn things are never out of their hands. there are thousands of apps, on my ipod I have some of the zynga games (like they have on FB)
