how can I safely remove adhesive marks from stickers on my black shiny monitor surround?

I use STICKY STUFF remover.It is brilliant for removing any adhesive marks. It can be purchased from any hardware stores

I know it sounds silly, but it really works :-) Cover the mark and leave for up to an hour and then wipe clean.
