Best online map for finding houses

I gave someone my address over the phone and they found my house immediately, they could even see my car on the drive. Is this the Google street map, or is there something that can get in closer ?

Google Earth is pretty good, you can see our neighbour's car parked outside our house - we were out the day they filmed it.

The closer I get, the fuzzier the photo.

Are you looking at the overhead view, or the street level view?

The street level view is a lot lot clearer.

if you are using the online version then drag the little yellow man over what ever stree you want to see and let him go
