Hi, i am after a new mobile - does anyone know of a model that has an mp3 player built in and the downloaded tracks can be used as ringtones ?.

The Nokia 6230, like most other mid-range Nokias has a multi-player built in which will play MP3, midi, video, recordings (made on the phone) and the like.  It can use MP3, midi and your own recordings as ring tones, message alert tones and alarm clock tones.

The Nokia 3300 is a good one too, it's the same shape and size as the N Gage.
