When people post links to old AB questions and you open it in a new window the 'latest posts' box on the right shows the current one, that's interesting don't you think and why is that?

Just the way the web page is built. Latest posts is continually refreshed .. Like a separate part. Will always be up to date whatever.

I have an artistic and sympathetic flair for old buildings. In fact, I have soooo much work now .. I only pick work on old ones : )

My family were wheelwrights (making wheels, not inventing the wheel) then builders from around 1700 .. so there is something in the blood.

It opens a new window not Tab, I can maximise it but it isn't needed just to see the questions/answers. What is fun is I can drag it round the screen looking at something from months ago but the latest post refreshes and appears just as the current one.
That must be quite satisfying if you don't find it boring but how come then you chose the RAF rather than building trade?
