St. Guthlac's Ladies' Guild Quiz - Name That Film

Thank you all for supporting our fundraising quiz. A total sum of £570.00 was raised. Only 10 all-correct entries were received this time and a draw took place this morning by our Curate, the Rev. Stephen Hearn. The winner is NEIL SOUTHWOOD of Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Clue 11 proved to be difficult for the majority of entrants. The capital 'R' in the clue (A Ripping yarn) was placed there to direct you to Jack the Ripper. Many of you gave 'Tall Tale' as your answer, but the setter is not familiar with this film. The correct answer is 'From Hell', the 2001 film about the Jack the Ripper murders and starring Johnny Depp as Inspector Abberline.

The answers are listed on the FUNDRAISING QUIZZES website. All entrants who enclosed a stamped self-addressed envelope with their answer sheet will receive their marked quiz sheet plus an answer sheet shortly. These were posted out this afternoon. If anyone else would like their quiz sheet back with a free answer sheet, please send a stamped self-addressed envelope to:- Jill, 3 Church Street, Deeping St. James, Peterborough, PE6 8HF.

Sorry this is not an answer - but having seen your mention of fundraising quizzes website, I went on it, and signed up. However, when I try to put my username and password in, it keeps telling me one of them is wrong. I even got them to send me emails as if I had forgotten each, and what I put in is correct. I just wondered if you have any email address or way of contacting them to report the problem, as the email I got address is 'no reply ....

Joanelle I run the fundraisingquiz site and i'm not sure whats happened here as there is no message from you at all in the error section or even the query section and ive no idea why your emails are getting no reply. Yes thanks DSJ did get sorted. And thanks again Oddboddy, and the website help email I got. I have now submitted my quiz on fundraising quizzes, and added a post describing it - so if yu want a go follow the instructions!! (Rainbow Rivers quiz)
