SDHC card
2 Answers
I bought an SDHC card a while ago. It worked for a bit but my phone didn't like it (was using it in a Memory Stick adaptor) and ended up getting corrupted when I pulled it out as it was being written to (I think this is what happened, or else it just broke).
My computer (Vista SP2) won't recognize it any more. Ubuntu won't recognize it. Linpus won't recognize it. TV/Blu-ray won't recognize it. Camera says "card error", lets me format it (pretends to let me, at any rate) but then says "card error" again once I have 'formatted' it.
Anyway, it seems pretty broken. I tried freezing it, as was suggested somewhere, but that didn't help. Tried leaving it for a a month or two to see if it would let some charge dissipate or something, but this hasn't helped either.
So, what I am wondering is... is there anything I can do? It didn't cost very much but it's a PITA. Can I (usefully) zap it with a battery? Anyway, suggestions?
Thanks.
