You might find an evening class, have a look at your local college or school. If you are still at school ask a teacher if they know of any.

You don't say how old you are, but if you're over 16 then you could look at the Open University short course. It's a ten week, online course that covers all the basics of digital cameras and photography and gives you the opportunity to post up your photos for critique. It's assessed via a multi-choice paper and a submission of ten photos with some commentary. It's a great course in its own right, and would give you ten points if you ever fancied going for a degree or diploma. Details here:
