MP3 Player from EBay
I am wanting to buy an MP3 player and the ones on ebay seem very cheap from Hong Kong. Stupid question but will they work with my computer over here and do you have to pay an export fee or is it just packaging and postage?
Cheers

As long as you are talking about a PC running Windows and with USB ports this should cater for the vast majority of MP3 players.
b) When an item is posted to you from a non-EC country it will have a Customs Declaration attached stating the value of the goods being sent. You may be liable to Customs duty - if the amount of duty is 7 and over; and Import VAT - if the value of the goods is 18 and over; although gifts of a value below 36 are exempt.
A lot of foreign eBay sellers mark packages as a Gift with a nominal value e.g. $1.00 and in a lot of cases that is the end of the story, but if the contents are checked by HM Customs and the declaration is deemed false you may be liable to financial penalties or criminal prosecution. Furthermore the goods themselves will be liable to forfeiture.
