How does an ipod work?
Can someone explain to me in basic terms how an ipod works? The main questions i have are as follows:
1. Do you need an apple computer if not does it need to be a certain specification?
2. Do you need certain software to transfer from CD to ipod?
3. Does the ipod plug into the computer or do you need wires?
4. Can you transfer CD's to ipod aswell as downloading?
5. How many tracks does a 20gb and 40gb approximately hold?
6. Where is a place to get a good deal on buying an ipod (pref the 40gb) net or otherwise?
Thnks in advance for answering, it saves me time instead of asking the rubbish people who work in Curry's, Dixons etc...

Not a bad answer from "one of the rubbish people" who works in dixons!!!!!!!
So why did you recommend he shop elsewhere Spud.
Anyway why pay through the nose for an ipod. Look at this at half the price and not tied in to itunes downloads:-http://www.novatech.co.uk/NOVATECH/specpage.html?NOV-NPO D
And if that doesn`t suit consider the Creative Zen range from Novatech or Dabs
