hi guys hope you can help.

my laptop had preinstalled microsoft works, and im havin trouble opening the Word documents (doc) so i installed Words in to the laptop. but when im opening the Doc. file it wont let me it will try and open it with wps. Can someone show me how to default the settings so that when i open a doc. it will open as a word doc rather than works?
