nokia3100 dual sim

hello,i have a nokia 3100 and have bought a dual sim card which i cannot find a way to sit properly in the back,i have used dual sims on other nokia phones with no problem. am i doing something silly or have i bought something which the phone is not designed for,hope other nokia 3100 users can help. thank you , allgram.

I use a dual sim card holder in a Nokia 3410 and a Nokia 3310. One holder was faulty (you could see broken tracks, so I got it replaced).

On the 3310 a slimmer battery had to be fitted.. but on my 3410 a piece of plastic (or cardboard) between the dual sim card holder and the case will ensure a tight fit, as they do need a tight fit to make the connections.

Have you tried the dual sim card holder in another phone to see if it works?
