Windows 7, Internet Explorer 8, and BT Yahoo!
Upgraded to Windows 7 last year and my system performance has really improved. It took a lot longer than I was led to believe to get all my applications seated-in, even though all the helpdesks assured me there would be no major issues, as they were totally compatable with Windows 7.
Well, as usual they were not exactly right, and it was only after I was well-down-the-road that the 'bugs' came out. However, nothing super difficult, but it did take considerable time debugging.
Well, for some reason, a few months ago, I notice that the icons on my 'favorites' tabbed folders were randomly changing. Once changed, they would stay that way for a long period of time, then the icon would change again.
The tabs work fine and so does the PC, so I am a bit afraid of making too many setup adjustments.
But, I'm curious to know if anyone else has had this fault? The BT Yahoo! helfpdesk informed me that there are some issues with BT Yahoo! and IE8; and they 'think' this may be one of them. The helpdesk didn't sound like they were expecting a fix anytime soon.
If anyone has seen this problem and seen how it was fixed, I would greatly appreciate it if they would share their knowledge.
Thanks for listening
