making animated gifs

Hi I have been trying for a few weeks to make my company logo animated, but am failing badly. Part of my logo contain angel wings which are 2D and I am trying to make them look like they are flying in the name. I am resigned to the fact that my efforts are terrible and am looking for someone to do it for me. I am a very new start up, does anyone know of a cheap animator that might do it, or even for free and will get a credit on my site and company literture which all realtes to graphic design and media. Thanks

If you still have the strength to persevere, Fireworks from macromedia is a splendid graphics program which allows you to do all sorts including making animated gif's.
