internet set up

on my internet page (dell start page then I use google ) - there isn't anything to let me select 'choose UK sites only'. there used to be that option just below the google box but for some reason isn't there now. I am inclined to fiddle so it's my fault I'm sure, but I've tried for ages to find out what I've done with no success. appreciate any help.

Silly questrion I know, but you are on .co.uk and not .com aren't you ?

No, fair enough, just checked, they seem to have removed it.
Hope it is an error on their part and not deliberate.

The .com just redirects me to the .co.uk as soon as I search.

If you have the standard plain google page it's here

If you are logged into google then you can customise your own google home page so it could be anywhere.

yes I am and I don't get millions of overseas sites either - maybe that option only comes up when you're on .com - there's a thought

thanks very much for the advice chuck and old geezer - have made a resolution to make a note of any changes I make whilst 'fiddling' so I have some idea next morning as to what I've actually done.! Go well

I am getting SO sick of typos. r in words that I swear didn't have them before I clicked submit, and now an i where I can not believe a u had not been typed.
