Since I switched on my PC this morning, it sounds like it's having a really good conversation with its components - or someone on the Internet!

 

I don't know what it's configuring, but is anyone elses H/D doing the same today?

Sure its not an anti-virus or indexing program going through its routine?

Hi Pinotage - it's been going on since 08:30! The anti-virus updates have never taken this long & I haven't rec'd any notification that it's been doing so.

Well, low & behold, it's now gone back to sleep - ah!

P.S. I haven't been on my PC since 08:30, I've noticed it whilst walking in & out doing my chores! :0)

Hi Pino - after the event. I've just received notification that my AGV Anti-Virus programme has been updated! So you were right after all. Thank you for that.
