In competitions on tv when the option of entering is by phone, text or internet , how do they decide which medium to use, do internet entries really get looked at. Anyone any ideas and has anyone out there ever won by internet entry.

They have a long list of FAQ's, as you click on a question it puts the answer underneath, it seem that all entries are transcribed? (is that the word) into the same format and then a winner is selected from that. It was interesting to see that if you are out when they call they will still try for 3 weeks before they reselect another winner to allow for holidays. Thanks everyone for your input
I always entered on-line & I sent them an e-mail asking for a breakdown of the winners categories. I received a reply stating that it could not be given as it was against their winners privacy to give out this information. I replied that I didn't want to know that Mr Smith had entered by text, Mrs Jones by 'phone etc.but never got an answer!!
I know of forum friends who have won via an internet entry. Sometimes the cash prizes are £25K or so. I was told (not sure if it's true or not) that they hold a draw first to find out which route of entry for each individual draw and then pick a winner that way. Being from Yorkshire, I refuse to spend money on the phone or by text!!
