packard bell diamond plus 1200...cant seem to get drivers to work on 7

manyy sites are for xp only, an don eperson said its impossible, becasue the scanner is old, others say theirs works fine...

some site are just excuses to get you to buy a driver manager thing and a few link to random irrelevant stuff

i am going batty trying to find one that will work on win7

even the packardbell site doesnt have them!
has any one used them?

If I remember correctly there were quite a lot of peripheral devices, printers, scanners, etc., that worked on XP but would not work with Vista because of the driver issue. As Windows 7 is the successor to Vista I fear this is still the case.
