Webcam not working

My Logitech Webcam hasn`t been used for several weeks and now when I plug it in the blue light appears for a split second and then goes off. I have downloaded Driver Whiz as I thought the drivers were not working but they want me to pay $29.95 to supposedly clean my PC. Can anyone help me get my Cam back working please?

I had a similar problem after a power surge which tripped my fuse box. In the end I did a fresh install of my webcam software. Worked a treat. Dont pay the money for a supposed cleaning of yr drive, its a rip off. If you ever did wish to do this you can get free software. If nothing else check out Logitechs website for FAQ or email them.
