Hi, on face-book I have several requests for joining groups, and accepting gifts. If I click on the 'ignore' button are the other party sending the request made aware that they have been declined. Or is it really ignored as the button suggests?

They don't get told you have ignored them....

It's up to you to deal with the guilt of ignoring and snubbing all these people that just want to be your friend :)
