Audible.co.uk software causing computer probs - how to get rid of it?

My brother-in-law is partially sighted and has zoomtext magnification software on his computer. The other day he decided he'd like to join audible.co.uk and download talking books. The download software now appears to be causing zoomtext not to load. I used the control panel to remove it, and deleted any other likely looking related files that were still left - relating to audible and itunes. However zoomtext is still refusing to load, although the computer seems fine otherwise.

By using the remove option on the control panel, have I actually uninstalled it? Or is this the problem, that I've deleted it instead? Any suggestions?

Seems unlikely (though not impossible) that the Audible software would cause a problem with zoomtext. If you removed the software through control panel, then theoretically at least, it's correctly uninstalled. Try re-installing zoomtext.
