I had all the programmes removed from my pc due to a virus have i lost all my itunes to

i have well over 500 cds on my machine via itunes and after receiving my pc back after it had to be stripped of all the programes, i cannot find them anywhere, i have looked in my music and they are not there, any ideas, thanks

Use the search function in your operating system. Type in one of the short song names in the search and see what comes up. Make sure you search your whole drive.

Did you listen to the tech when you took the comp in for repairs? They often ask if there is anything on the HDD you want to keep. If you have not made it known that you wanted to keep the songs, they may be gone.

Why on earth did the tech remove all of your programs and files just to get rid of a virus? That seems a bit like overkill to me and I would be demanding they paid for all of the music that they removed.
