My IE8 and Firefox has been hijacked. Every I typed search into Google the results are displayed but if I clicked on any links, it takes awhile for the page to load and when it does load it's diverted to some generic shopping site, search site etc.

I've tried using Malwarebytes, SuperAnitspyware, CCleaner, Spybot Search & Destroy to sort out the problem but without any success. Any suggestions?

Download and run High Jack This which is a free program from Trend Micro and see if it can find any unusual entries. Download and run AVZ ANTIVIRAL REMOVAL TOOL it is a new antivirus and root kit tool that also scans your RAM. it should find the culprit.
Sounds like a similar issue that my nephew had. Try and run the update for malwarebytes. If that fails, try running it in safe mode. Ensure you run a FULL scan. This will take a while.

Thanks for the sugestions especially the Avz Antiviral Removal Tool. I tried everything I could think off but to no avail, there is no alternative but to restore factory setting. Luckily all is not lost, always useful to have a backup computer for these eventualities.
download firefox again.....it will restore your system.
