I have excel, but i've never had much success in setting it upfor an address book. Mighthave to give it a go though. Some of the programmes out there seem awful.
Just out of interest, I have also been using only the Lotus Organiser for the last 10 years or so and you have decided me to change so that I can remove Lotus completely and save a lot of hard drive space. Looking through the site above I have installed a program called Phonedeck which is a straight forward address/phone number record and it seems to be quite suitable once you get used to it.
The records in Lotus can be exported into a .TXT file but you will have to print the file out in order to copy the info into Phonedeck.
Unfortunately, I have just noticed that you have Windows 7 whereas Phonedeck only works up to Win XP. Sorry about that but there may be something else on the list which will be suitable for you.
Good hunting.
nope not Windows 7. Kurlo looked like hte bestoption, but not yet windows 7.
I'm going to go for filofax: not free (£12.50), but it seems to fit the bill.
Proof will come in the printing of my Chjristmas labels!
Sorry you haven't been fixed up with a Freebie, Goofy.
I'm keeping the PhoneDeck program as it seems to fit the bill for me.
I would have thought that it might work with Win 7 as it was produced before Win 7 was even thought of and, as far as I'm aware, seems to be a self-contained program.
Maybe it would be worth downloading it and installing for a trial as it could soon be uninstalled if it doesn't suit your requirements???
Shame about that, Goofy.
I hope you find something suitable soon.
Wak.
Incidentally, have you got any lotus .lwf files that haven't been converted yet?
There's a "Keyview for Lotus" file that will do it.
