my husband has uninstalled norton and now has a virus on his machine cannot get on line or indeed load the norton can anyone ot there tell us what do do next I am working on my laptop

try switching the machine off and press f8 to get into safe mode as you restart

Try Installing it in safe mode

If you select safe mode with networking, install it run an update and then run a full scan, all while in safe mode, then restart the computer.

I personally would also install, update and scan with malwarebytes as well while you are in safe mode.

We have purchased security suite platignum and it now scanning think it will take an hour or two thanks for your help
