why can't a friend play a slideshow on her computer.

I have made a slideshow using the Tripadvisor site. It displays photos and plays music and captions. I have sent it to several friends who have played it OK but one friend gets music only and a blank screen. She has Windows XP and uses AOL as her ISP. Could it be that her firewall is blocking it or could it be Flash player is not up to date? Grateful for any help.
