Hotmail site has been made very confusing to me I am having difficulty in understanding. As you know I got my car stolen on Friday night and I have sent details to motor insurance when I got into SENT to look at my email that I have sent them back their generated automatic reply comes and splittingly for a sec you briefly see my reply back.

Three times I have sent them a reply the generated thing still comes up - can anbody help where I can find my SENT messages. Thanks for any replies. Hotmail is doing my head in at the moment since these messages are very important re compensation.

They should be in your sent items as long as you have got "save to sent items" turned on.

Click on options in the top right and select more options then look down the list of options for save sent items, click on it and make sure it's on.

However, you should never rely on email for important correspondence, it is not and has never been a guaranteed way of communication, if something is important send it by registered post, not email.
