is there a way of getting acknowledge ment of receipt of emails on sky mail?

Would a solar powered charger keep an ipod going for about 5 weeks?

You can't if you use the webmail, you need to use a mail client like outlook express or outlook if you want read receipts. (although even then there is no guarantee you will get an acknowledgement as the receiving party can just say "no ,don't send a read receipt")
