Dead IPhone

Wonder if anyone can help - my IPhone was playing up so I swtiched it off and then back on and all that happens is the little apple picture appears and then it switches back off. Is it a goner?

is your phone listed on the side menu?

Have you just tried to simply restore it?

Nope - sorry, you are trying so hard to help (you must think I am a right thicko - always said the phone was too clever for its own good!)

when they unlock phones, the unlock codes relate to the version number of the phone, if they use the wrong codes they can ruin your phone, it could be time to call apple and see if they can repair it.. :S

OK - I'll have to try that (by that I mean - I'llget my husband to do it for me!) - thanks for your help though.

make sure you have tried to switch it on after you did the reset (press and hold the top button only)
