Why do my iPhone music tracks jump when being played through my JVC car stereo?

Why do my iPhone music tracks jump when being played through my JVC car stereo? It will not play through the USB socket like my daughters cheap MP3 player so I had to buy a bluetooth adaptor. I am not happy, this is the first Apple device I've bought and it may be the last. I tunes won't recognize half the music on my laptop either.

Like the others said, plug it into the radio if it is possible. Also, check your iTunes and verify the "type" of music file you are burning to the Apple. There are many options and many levels of quality. You can try verifying that you are burning an MP3 version and use a higher quality - larger file size (takes more space on Apple device, but is definitely a factor). Also, your Bluetooth may be stepping on some other BT device (like your cell phone, etc), which possibly could cause skipping (or it isn't close enough to the radio). Hope these ideas help.
