My printer won't turn on, help!

I don't know how long I've had it but think it's only around a year, can't find the receipt anywhere either. It's an Epson SX105 and will not turnon at all. A few months ago it would do this if one of the cartridges ran out then suddenly come on again for you to fit a new one but now nothing. There is nothing obvious I can see. Does anyone have any ideas? Should I just buy a new one, shouldn't it last longer than this?
