Mobile Phone problem

When someone who is on my contact list phones my mobile then their name comes up on the screen, but some of my contacts it's only their number which appears even although their number is on my contact list.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and how can I fix it?

Check you've not got the same number in your contact twice.

My son did that to my phone. Copied the numbers to sim and then copied them back to phone duplicating some of them. Any duplicates will come up with number only.

Check if it's just the ordinary code or +44 that you have stored, and compare with what's coming up on the screen. Mine doesn't recognise the number with the normal code which was how I'd entered them all, but I changed them to +44 and it's fine now.
