Play TV PS3 Problem

Hi, i have PlayTV on my PS3 but in the new house we have moved into, there is no aerial socket for the TV so i am having to use a portable aerial. when i plug it in to the playTV tuner box thing i do everything as usual, but when my PS3 tries to search for channels it says it has no signal, can anyone help, what do i do? it gets signal when i put the TV onto analogue TV. (i.e. just taking the PS3 out of the equation completely and just having the aerial plugged straight into the TV) Any help appreciated. TIA

If it is a small portable aerial there may not be enough signal indoors.

how do i get around this as i am not able to run aerial cable trhough the walls etc. as it is a rented house. :-(

Where does the TV aerial come into the house,& where do you wish to play your PS3 ?

the TV aerial comes into the house via the roof i believe but i cannot use that aerial because there is no aerial socket in the room i want to use it in, the room is upstairs on the opposite end of the house to the aerial and as it is rented property we cant do to much in the way of running cables etc.. so the only option is portable aerial.

if the aerial enters the house from the roof as you say,does it go into the loft? if so can you run internal co-axial cable from the loft to the room for your PS3

If you can access the aerial in the loft, click on the link below & have a look at the dual signal booster, you can connect to your tv & your ps3 & get a better signal for both.Ron.
