Does anyone know of a really effective electronic stray dog deterrant?

We have a house in Turkey where stray dogs wander and at night their barking is intolerable!
There are many dog scarers on the market but the reviews I've read show they're not very effective.

I don't know of any deterrent that would make them stay so far away that you wouldn't hear them barking

One of those perimetr wires works .. for your own dogs .. and if they have a special collar on!
