If the ISP supplies the modem they usually come with it.

You do realise for ADSL you cannot use the dial-up modem you may already have.

For ADSL you will need microfilters for each phone socket in the house. There have been stories of broadband modems affecting other phones in the house if you don't have all phones going through a micro filter.
